CODY GARDNER

Founder, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Operations, Interventionist

Cody Gardner manages all the main components of the Orion Consulting Firm. He has expertise in business development, management solutions, HR, C-Suite functions, marketing techniques, program development, treatment licensing, and accreditation. Cody is an expert in addiction treatment startups. Whether you’re looking to create something from the ground up or want to grow your business, Cody can do it all. He also has a long record of meaningful successes as a recovery coach and interventionist. Cody has helped start over 2 dozen treatment centers and assisted in the business development of many more. 

Before founding Orion, Cody’s time in the behavioral health field spanned more than 15 years. His experience started with a focus on adolescents with cognitive, mental health, and behavioral disorders. He then served at the Denver Drug Court as a lead probation officer. Cody personally worked with hundreds of clients and oversaw the case processing of thousands. During this time, he helped implement evidence-based practices, policies, and programs aimed at helping high risk populations.

He then worked in high-level executive positions in the field of behavioral health including National Marketing Representative for a New England-based program and Chief Operations Officer of another addiction startup. Eventually this paved the way to him owning and founding a treatment center in Colorado. Cody Gardner became fluent in all the roles of a fully functioning addiction treatment center and honed his skills for managing unique and challenging circumstances. He’s taken his wealth of knowledge to help teach the next generation of young professionals in the addiction treatment industry. As his experience in both the public and private sector have grown, so has his intention to expand the complex work of mental health and addiction treatment. 

Every day Cody thinks about how he can help men and women find a path to recovery and a way out of their destructive cycles. This has inspired Cody to create Orion Treatment Consulting, where anyone can receive specialized recovery support for themselves or their business. When not working, Cody can be found with his family enjoying Colorado’s incredible parks, hiking, or adventuring the world. He is also an avid handball player and loves traveling to play in tournaments and pick-up-games.
